Coverage
What dealmakers, operators, and allocators are saying on the shows they actually listen to. Sentiment and coverage from the private equity conversation.
Refreshed nightly · readings through September 19, 2026
We transcribe every episode of the private equity shows listed below and score what gets said in them. Not what analysts predict, and not what a survey panel reports after the fact. What practitioners tell each other while the quarter is still running.
Podcast interviews are unusually good evidence for this. The guest is a working operator, the format is long enough that talking points run out, and nobody is answering a multiple-choice question. When sentiment in a sector turns, it tends to show up in how people talk months before it reaches a published number.
The scores below run 0 to 100 against a 50 neutral baseline, weighted by how much reach an episode has. Readings refresh nightly across a trailing 30-day window. A cut this narrow can go thin in a quiet month, and when it does we say so rather than publishing a number built on four episodes. Full methodology.
Sentiment across the five topics we score, measured only on private equity shows. Trailing 30 days against the same window a quarter ago; thin cuts fall back to a 90-day read.

Ty Greneaux, owner of Acadiana Garage Doors, discusses the profound influence of his late father-in-law Frank on both his business philosophy and personal leadership approach. Beginning with an awkward garage door opener installation in 2003, Ty traces how Frank's people-first values, servant's heart, and quiet consistency transformed him from a burned-out corporate executive into a leader focused on serving others and building a legacy based on impact rather than achievement. The conversation covers Ty's journey implementing systems and processes to scale the business while preserving Frank's culture, managing the transition to professional operations, and his recent acquisition integration with Windsor America.
